Noor Tab (“we”, “our”, “the extension”) is a Chrome browser extension designed to provide moment of reflections - Islamic reminders, Qur’an verses, adhkars and prayer times.

We value your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how data is handled.

1. Information We Collect

Noor Tab does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).

However, the extension may access the following locally on your device:

• Location data (approximate)

  Used only to calculate accurate prayer times based on your region and only if user allows.

• Extension preferences

  Such as selected calculation method, language, display settings or theme.

  These are stored locally using Chrome’s storage API.

2. How Information Is Used

• Location is used only to determine prayer times.
• Preferences are used only to improve your experience.
• Data is never sold, shared or transferred to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Noor Tab fetches religious content (e.g. Qur’an, prayer times, Hadiths) from verified public, third-party APIs.

These services may process requests according to their own privacy policies.

No user identity is attached to these requests.
